Cobra Elite hoods offer improved styling for better fit and maximum coverage. Hoods provide double layer coverage of neck, upper chest, shoulders and shoulder blades. The tapered back and notched shoulder drape allow bib to lie flat for a more comfortable fit. Flat-stitched seams eliminate bunching and won’t dig into skin. A half inch wide elastic face opening stretches to full 17" to ensure a snug fit around most SCBA masks. UL Classified to NFPA 1971 Standard on Protective Ensembles for Structural Fire Fighting and Proximity Fire Fighting – Current Edition.
Similar comfort and flame and thermal resistance to the popular Nomex®/Lenzing FR® blend at a fraction of the cost. Where Ara‑Tek FR really shines is its durability and arc resistance.
