Cobra^™ Ultimate^™ hoods are double ply and feature extra-long length that covers head, chest, shoulders and shoulder blades for enhanced protection. Flat-stitched seams eliminate bunching and won’t dig into skin. A half inch wide elastic face opening stretches to full 16" to ensure a snug fit around most SCBA masks. UL Classified to NFPA 1971 Standard on Protective Ensembles for Structural Fire Fighting and Proximity Fire Fighting – Current Edition.

The Comfort Plus^™ Advantage:

A lightweight, high performance lining made from flame resistant Nomex^® and Lenzing FR^® fibers that deliver an exceptionally high TPP rating. Softer and more breathable, this liner is designed to keep the wearer cooler, drier and more comfortable.

Fabric Description:

PBI is an extraordinary fiber that doesn’t burn in air. Blended with Lenzing FR^®, this fabric is the most comfortable flame resistant hood fabric on the market. Even though fabric is incredibly lightweight, the proprietary Comfort Plus^™ Liner offers an exceptionally high TPP rating.
