Cobra™ Elite™ hoods offer improved styling for better fit and maximum coverage. Hoods provide double layer coverage of neck, upper chest, shoulders and shoulder blades. The tapered back and notched shoulder drape allow bib to lie flat for a more comfortable fit. Flat-stitched seams eliminate bunching and won’t dig into skin. A half inch wide elastic face opening stretches to full 17" to ensure a snug fit around most SCBA masks.
Developed by PGI in the early 1980s, this mid-weight blend has become the most popular hood fabric in the market due to its ability to wick moisture away from the skin more effectively than other flame resistant fabrics keeping the wearer drier and more comfortable.
